West Ham have now let in 1000 goals in the Prem league.
What one was you most gutted about for?

For me it was Wigan’s 3rd when we got relegated few seasons back. When I went to the game I already accepted we were down but then we went 2 0 up and the results at the other games were going our way.

Then off course in classic West Ham style we turned into a Sunday league side in the 2nd half and when that 3rd went in I was absolutely gutted.

YOURS?

Losing 3-0 in injury against Spurs after losing 4-0 against Chelsea and Liverpool in the week before, and the ref keeping the game for as long as it took for them to score the 4th

The worst goal in 1986 had to be the penalty against us after Paul Walsh dived and got Ray Stewart sent off at Anfield.

If that six pointer had gone the way it was going until Liverpool cheated, we wouldn't have had to rely on bloody Chelsea.

And we would have won at Anfield.

That 2002/03 season has a few.

Wiltord, Okocha, Beattie, Rickets.

I think the late Defoe goal vs Blackburn is up there for the complete opposite though!

Liverpool again. although we would still have had to beat Everton

Jay Jay Okocha for Bolton in 2003 has to be up there.

Overall though, forget the Premier League and forget goals against us, the most gut wrenching goal has to be Dalglish against Chelsea in 1986 that stopped us from winning the league.

I know its not the prem but gerrards goal also. Dont think I have ever forgiven West Ham for that as my son was born that year and I wanted that cup so badly Im just glad I wasnt at the game.

W4, just watched it again on Youtube & definitely no deflection. The one you may recall is when he scored for the Mancs went in off Tonka's boot

Lukaku's Offside goal still pisses me off...

...as it was so obviously Offside to the letter of the Offside Law...

Well most recently the Premiership goal against us that annoyed me the most was by Eric Dier.

the Spurs last min ones

also an injury tiem James Beattie winner for Southampton

And the penalty that Lampard scored 3 or 4 times, kept thinking he had to miss one of the retakes

With regards to the game at the weekend Lukaku's pissed me off.

Mainly because as soon as it fell to him I was sure the lino was going to flag for offside, but nothing.

Those goals annoy me most.

When it is an exceptional goal that you couldn't of done anything about I sort of say well fair play I guess.

But when they shouldn't stand it's the worst.

Ashley Young for Villa a couple of years ago as I had just given him a mouthful for diving here there & everywhere & his sparrow like legs.. He then cuts inside, beat two defenders & curled a beauty into the top corner ......

was a wicked deflection, AIRC...

Wiltords late equaliser in 2002 for Arsenal after we had been 2-0 up and missed a pen at 2-1. Was a sign of things to come. Reckon if we had held on to win we wouldn't have gone down that season.
